Veterans Memorial Railroad

Right in the heart of Bristol, a volunteer organization of dedicated enthusiasts runs this re-creation of an old-fashioned railroad depot and line.

A Family friendly attraction with a playground, large covered picnic pavilion, and one mile of a paved walking trail, all of which can be enjoyed year round.

Free Public Train Ride Day
Every second Saturday of the month, 11am-3pm.

Private Train Reservations
Daytime train ride for up to 35 people. $150.00 for 1-2 rounds

Torreya State Park

Torreya State Park features high bluffs overlooking the Apalachicola River. Popular for camping, hiking and picnicking and bird-watching. Open daily 8am until sunset.

Tour the Gregory House

The Gregory House, is a beautiful Southern mansion built in 1849 by prominent Calhoun County planter Jason Gregory.
Monday- Friday at 10am
Weekends and state holidays 10am and 2pm
